Material: Eggshell (calcium carbonate), Gypsum (calcium sulfate), Silicon
Process: Mix eggshell powder with gypsum powder and pour it into a shell shaped mold. Apply thin silicon to the inner wall, to form the eggshell membrane.
Eggshells protect the content of eggs and posses a kind of fragility that it can be broken even by a small life force. We may be able to create a container of entirely new values by replacing these features with others. We focused on the color, texture and cracks of the shell in this experiment.
