Material: Acrylic resin
Focused on the acrylic shavings generated from manufacturing processes. Using these shavings as raw material, the designers duo Bounce experimented to find unique texture which can be used in various ways. The mission is to discover new possibilities which would take advantage of the distinctive qualities of this material that cannot be found in plain acrylic boards. Similar to their Re-JUTE project last year, this designers duo continues to employ design aproach that utilizes waste as new material. Bounce would like to give a special thanks to an acrylic expert Hyodo Kogei who is working as an adviser for this project.
