Material: Arakawa Grip & Wire with Paper

Utilizing the major characteristics of tension wire, a 3D object was created by gathering multiple pieces of wires arranged in a circular shape.  By attaching the Arakawa Grips to those wires, the sizes of the circles can be easily adjusted and the 3D object that they form becomes flexible. For the exhibition display, the firebox of a Japanese lantern is created by integrating this discovery, and through attaching pleated paper to the wires with Arakawa grips, it becomes representative of and similar to a flexible glowing object.
