Experimental Creations in Milano 2016

The Platform for Innovative Design Expressions

In this world filled with design, it is important to search for new design expressions. We work with young Japanese designers to explore sensible designs that focus on qualities such as material or texture. Moreover, we actively present the creative processes of each exhibit to show their multihued values. We continue to expand the capabilities of design by initiating creative experimentations.

In the market of fashion, products and architecture, the innovative manufacturing techniques are being widely discovered through digital tools including 3D software and printers. This year, we present eight works that aim to exhibit the new design expressions by contemplating the characteristics of digital tools while other four continues to portray innovative approach through material such as metal, Japanese washi paper and concrete.
