Soup is a type of meal which does not have any fragments to leave behind after eating. Preparing it takes time but it’s simple enough to be made at home. Moreover, soup is fascinating in the way that even the way vegetables are cut into pieces differs depending on the person who prepares it. The dynamics of pouring the ingredients into the pot right off the cutting board and the way they are served into the bowl rather randomly can also be listed as its uniquenesses.
The designer carried out this experiment so the mold that casts the outer shape of the product would become a part of the final work and that it will only require simple manufacturing process without any complicated technique. He also made sure that the emotional shift that the designer experienced during this designing process would also reflect on the value of the final work.
